It’s not a trash can

The hardest part about traveling is EATING right! It would be so much easier to go through the quickest drive thru (I think my stomach just turned- UCK!) or to just not eat at all (no bueno!!) but your body will perform better if you don’t ride that roller coaster.  As soon as we start treating our bodies like trash cans… well… they start performing like it! And I don’t mean just athletically… I mean you feel fatigued, bloated, headaches along with lots of other health ailments… Yep! Just based on what we put into our mouths!

I used to travel and feel HORRIBLE because no matter how hard I tried to eat well in a restaurant it always made me feel icky. Recently, I found a solution that should have been a simple solution but you know how that goes… the simple things are the hardest to see!!

I find the nearest grocery store and stock up on fruits, veges, nuts and sandwich goodies. No refrigerator?? Well… if there is a problem then you can find a solution. If you are traveling to a hotel there is usually an ice machine. With that and a disposable cooler you are set!! You can buy a disposable cooler or thermal bag for next to pennies. EASY!! Make sure you refill the ice OFTEN to keep your goodies cold and you are all set!! What else can stand in your way?? It is actually SIGNIFICANTLY cheaper to eat this way. No you can’t cook if you don’t have a stove but you can eat lots of wholesome foods and keep your belly full and your body happy!!

I also always travel with Shakeology because it is easy to make, inexpensive and travels very well!!

It is easy to eat healthy with a little planning! Take the time to plan ahead so you can eat well and feel GREAT!

HEALTH! JOY! LOVE!
