DAY 15!! Asylum Speed and Agility with Shaun Thompson
You have seen me work harder in the last 15 days than I have worked in a long time!! We are half way there! I have thoroughly enjoyed this program so far. Today, I am going to take an opportunity to give you the highlights of Speed and Agility and where my progress is with this workout.
Speed and Agility is just that… speed and agility training. According to the NASM, speed is the ability to move the body in one intended direction as fast as possible and agility is the ability to accelerate, decelerate, stabilize and change direction quickly, while maintaining proper posture. Shaun Thompson addresses both of these key elements of training by using three simple tools- an agility ladder, a speed rope and your body!!
Since I began this program, I have found that my feet are moving quicker and with more precision in every exercise within the routine. I am also finding that my core is getting much stronger!!
The warm up begins with speed rope drills that will make you want to curl up in the corner and cry out for help!! You will be left in a puddle of sweat!
After a well deserved stretch, the real workout begins!! It is time for agility ladder drills, fast rope drills, core work and a lot of burn!! During this session, your focus will be tested and your body will cry out begging for relief!!
I am not yet convinced that we will see a huge difference in my weight or even my pictures at the end of the 30 days but I know without a doubt that I will see a difference in my performance because at day 15, I can see those changes already happening!! I love what Asylum is doing to for my performance!! I couldn’t do any of it though without Shaun pushing me to be my best!! He is a phenomenal trainer and keeps me focused and on task for the entire workout!
Are you ready to join me?? Let’s get you a white jacket and a padded room!! www.findtheburn.com/asylum
Good info and right to the point. I don’t know if this is really the best place to ask but do you folks have any thoughts on where to employ some professional writers? Thx
